Prediction Feedback

ThoughtRiver generates predictions and highlights specific clauses as part of its contract analysis. Your feedback plays an important part in improving the accuracy of our models.
To provide accurate results, ThoughtRiver links individual clauses to each question or issue card rather than the contract as a whole. Because of this, there are 2 different ways to provide feedback.

1. Thumbs Up / Thumbs Down

The thumbs up and thumbs down buttons apply to the entire prediction.

👍 Thumbs up means the answer and all linked clauses are correct.
👎 Thumbs down means the answer and all linked clauses are incorrect.

For example, if a question has 3 highlighted clauses and you select thumbs down, this tells us:
  • The overall answer is wrong, and
  • All highlighted clauses are incorrect.
Under the Thumbs down option you can opt to select a particular reasons as to why the the prediction is wrong.

2. Linking and Unlinking

If only a specific clause is incorrect, use the Unlink option.
Unlinking a clause:
  • Removes it from the current contract view, and
  • Tells us that this specific clause was incorrectly identified.
Use this option when:
  • The overall answer is correct, but
  • One or more highlighted clauses are not relevant.
Selecting Unlink All has the same effect as selecting thumbs down. It tells us that that all of the clauses are incorrect and the overall prediction is incorrect.
If the prediction is wrong and there are no linked clauses or it has missed a specific clause you can select the clause on the document and choose the Link button

Redline Feedback

In Redline Mode, the thumbs up and thumbs down buttons relate only to the suggested redline text, not the underlying prediction.

👍 Thumbs up means the suggested redline is appropriate.
👎 Thumbs down means the suggested redline is not helpful or needs improvement.

This feedback applies only to the AI-generated drafting suggestion shown in Redline Mode.
It does not change:
  • The Yes/No answer to the question
  • The linked clauses
