User Roles and Permissions

User Roles and Permissions

User Roles work collectively so that you can customise the access for an individual user. If a user has both a Business User and Author role, they will have the collective permissions of both roles. Below we've provided a guide for what user roles are typically assigned by customer job titles.


All user's must have at least a Business User role.

Typical Job Roles

Business User

 

The user role with the ability to submit contracts, remediate contracts, review and mark contracts as signed.

 

Account Executive, Procurement Manager, Lawyers, Paralegals, etc.

Legal Adviser

The user role with the ability to submit contracts, remediate contracts, review,  and mark contracts as signed.
These are users who serve as escalation contacts for business users

Sales Manager, Account Executive, Procurement Officer, Lawyers, General Counsel, Contract Managers, Paralegal, etc.

Author

 The user role with the ability to create custom playbooks, new properties, manage contract templates and train the platform.
Lawyers, Paralegals, etc.

Legal Administrator

The user role with the ability to manage the client account.
They are able to add and remove users from the client account.
There must always be at least one administrator, there can be multiple administrators.

Legal Operations Manager, Finance Director, Sales Operations Manager, VP Sales, etc.
