Creating a New User

Adding and Configuring Users in ThoughtRiver

Accessing the Users Section

To start managing users:

  1. Select Users from the Settings Menu.

Add a New User

To add a new user, follow these steps:

  1. Click on Create New User.
  2. Complete the user's basic information (First Name, Last Name, and Email Address) and click Add.

A password reset email will be sent to the new user.


Assign Review Stream Access

Users must be assigned review stream access to submit contracts to specific review streams (e.g., ThoughtRiver's WorldCC NDA Standards review stream).

Steps to assign access:

  1. Click on the globe icon on the user card to open the review stream page.
  2. Use the Search by Review Stream field to find the correct review streams.
  3. Click the plus icon ( + ) next to the name of the review stream(s) the user should have access to.

Configure User Role

To enable a user to take actions within the system, assign them a user role:

  1. Select the user card to open the user role toggles.
  2. Toggle on the user roles you’d like to apply to this user.

Final Configuration

Your user is now fully configured to access and review contracts in ThoughtRiver!


💡 Note:
Depending on your permission levels, you may need to select Configuration a second time from the menu to access the main Administration landing page. If you see the page below, simply select Configuration again to access the full menu.
