Clearing your Web Browser Cache / Word Add-in Cache

Google Chrome

To clear your web browser cache in Google Chrome follow these steps:

1. Open Google Chrome.
2. At the top right, click on
3. Click on More tools > Clear browsing data (or hold Ctrl + Shift + Del).
4. At the top select 'All time' as the time range.
5. Check the boxes next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files".
6. Click on Clear data.

Microsoft Edge

To clear your web browser cache in Microsoft Edge follow these steps:

1. Open Microsoft Edge.
2. At the top right, select Menu (3 dots icon on top right corner of the browser).
3. Click on Settings.
4. Select Privacy, search, and services.
5. Under Clear browsing data, click on Choose what to clear.
6. At the top select 'All time' as the time range.
7. Check the boxes next to "Cached images and files" and "Cookies and other site data".
8. Click on Clear now.

Word Add-in

To clear your Word add-in  cache follow these steps:

1. Open File Explorer.
2. Enter the following into the address bar and press Enter: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Wef\
3. Delete all folders within this location (select Skip if you see a "Folder In Use" notification).
